Dahal Event Planner started with a love story — literally. Our founder proposed to his wife at 1,500 feet in the sky while piloting a Cessna 172, with "MARRY ME" written in giant letters on the ground below. She said yes! Then they took it up a notch by arriving at their wedding by helicopter. When you create an event THAT unforgettable for yourself, people start asking you to do the same for them.
That's how Dahal Events was born — from a genuine belief that every celebration should be extraordinary. Founded in Austin in 2018, we've since planned over 500 events across Central Texas. From intimate 10-person dinners to 500-guest weddings, we bring that same "proposal-at-1500-feet" energy to every celebration. Austin isn't just where we work — it's home.

While working on his private pilot license, our founder flew his girlfriend over a field where "MARRY ME" was written in giant letters. In a single-engine Cessna 172, somewhere between the clouds and a racing heartbeat — she said YES!
